Membership of Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM )
The MRCEM exam is taken by doctors who would like to pursue their career in Emergency Medicine.
It has 3 components:
MRCEM Primary
MRCEM SBA
MRCEM OSCE
Format of MRCEM Primary exam
MRCEM (PRIMARY) exam is a written assessment exam where one has to choose a Single Best Answer (SBA) out of 5 choices. It has 180 multiple-choice questions and the duration of the exam is 3 hours.
There is no negative marking and hence answering all the questions is very important. Time management is key.
